BeWelcome Drupal Projects

This is a list of contributed projects included in the bw-drupal Drupal profile, and their intended purposes.

Disabled Modules

Display suite (3 modules) I think DS is the best choice for putting fields in the right place. Plus it's exportable into Features.

Janrain Engage (4) It supports Facebook login. Removed. We'll keep OpenID though and we should make it easy for people to log in with very common OpenIDs, a bit like http://hitchwiki.org/en/Special:OpenIDLogin

Mail (8) This is the Privatemsg module, which seems the perfect candidate for messaging.

Multilingual (1) We will want this one.

OpenLayers (5) I thought this was the best option for mapping but another option will be fine too, as long as it's under active development and supports OpenStreetMap.

Organic Groups (8) Probably the best choice for groups.

Profile (1) PCP = profile completion percentage. It's nice but we can leave this for later, so I removed this for now.

User Relationships (14) Started playing with this in bwmigrate, looks like the candidate for both comments and relationships.

Webform (1) The module of choice for a general contact form. We probably want to keep this, unless there is a better option (i.e. more exportable into code).
