General announcement.

For those that don't know: What's a wiki?

Following the repeated intention from the admin of this website to delete the content of the wiki that is not travelguide-like. Someone finally opened a couchsurfing wiki for all other content. It is there: couchwiki.org

On a personal level, I seriously urge you not to contribute to the CS travelguide wiki if it ever sees the light of day. It has a very restrictive licence that makes its content unusable, in particular by the contributors themselves. There is a participative travelguide that already exists and that is very successful and that already has a flexible licence. It is called wikitravel. They are both based on the same software so they are identical to use.

Trust the geek on such matters.
