  1. Eat any of the local specialities: Waffles, Chocolates, French Fries, Mitraillette, Escargots, Mussles
  2. Drink a traditional beer from the Senne Valley (where Brussels is situated): Lambic, Mars, Faro, Kriek, or Gueuze
  3. Visit some of the wonderful examples of Art Nouveau architecture
  4. Stroll around the city and follow the Comic Strip Route (famous Belgian Comic Strip figures painted on the walls)
  5. On Sundays: go to the market at Gare du Midi - before 14:00, afterwards it's a great place to dumpster dive.
