Use {{TOCleft}} and it will float your TOC magically to the left, if you are so inclined...It might play around with pictures in a page a bit, if the code is too close to the pictures. Just play around with it if it screws stuff up. If not, you'll just be a right winger TOC. - copied from the couchsurfing wiki where it was created by Tomvienna, thanks Tom!
