A host is a member of a hospitality exchange network who is willing to offer another member a place to stay or sleep in their house, flat, or apartment. Hosts are typically willing to host other members under the pretext of cultural exchange. Hosts should not expect money or payment for their services. However, they may be reimbursed by their guests for any expenses, such as food.
