===2007===
* Estonian traveller [http://www.couchsurfing.com/people/lylian Lylian] emails most Brisbane profiles to organise a BBQ at the South Bank Parklands on May 20th.
* First 'official' meeting on the 17th November at [http://www.couchsurfing.com/profile.html?id=EBOOIF Beni MC's]. About 20 members attended.
* December - Beni MC becomes Brisbane's first City Ambassador for CS.
* Brisbane - Toowoomba bilateral gathering on the 12 December at [http://www.couchsurfing.com/people/adriannqld Adrian's] flat in the Valley

===2008===
* Meeting hosted by [http://www.couchsurfing.com/people/kourdizo Gayle] on January 20th. About 10 members.
* A camping trip to [http://www.couchsurfing.com/profile.html?id=2HBLTGF Dan's] property just West of Brisbane in [http://maps.google.com.au/maps?hl=en&q=marburg&ie=UTF8&ll=-27.562765,152.596321&spn=0.14944,0.299377&z=12&iwloc=addr Marburg] on the 23/24th of February. HUGE, brilliant.
* March - [http://www.couchsurfing.com/people/boymeetsworld Darren] becomes a City Ambassador for Surfer's Paradise on the Gold Coast and [http://www.couchsurfing.com/people/ratandgeoff Geoff] becomes a City Ambassador for Toowoomba.
* May - [http://www.couchsurfing.com/people/dajinjaninja Ninja] and [http://www.couchsurfing.com/profile.html?id=3D13NH0 Skye] become Nomadic Ambassadors.
* Meeting at [http://www.couchsurfing.com/profile.html?id=EBOOIF Beni MC's] on 17th May. About 15 of us.
* Meeting at [http://www.ourbrisbane.com/lifestyle/527779.abseiling-kangaroo-point-cliffs Kangaroo Point cliffs] on June 21st before [http://www.ourbrisbane.com/whats-on/gig-guide/953577.fete-de-la-musique Fete de la Musique]. About 10 of us.
* June - [http://www.couchsurfing.com/people/mustang79 Sally] becomes a City Ambassador for Maleny on the Sunshine Coast.
* Meeting at [http://www.couchsurfing.com/people/nicole604 Nicole's] on July 27th. About 15 members and guests in attendance.
* On September 21st Brissy CS had its first attempt at representing CS within the local community by entering a team in the [http://www.brisbanecityromp.com/ Brisbane City Romp].

* On March 1st members of the Brissy CS community get together with the [http://www.4zzzfm.org.au/ 4ZzZfm mob] to help clean the creek around the [http://www.northeystreetcityfarm.org.au/ Northey Street community farm] for [http://www.cleanup.com.au/au/ Clean Up Australia Day].
* April - Beni MC steps down as City Ambassador.
