Editing Le Puy-en-Velay (section)

===== From Aurillac (2 days) =====
Quiet, nice and easiest way via Saint-Flour, Langeac, Siauges-Sainte-Marie: (tested august 2014 --Iubito)
* Avoid N122 (D1022) there is a forbidden tunnel for bike under Le Lioran ski resort.
* From Arpajon-sur-Cère, follow the D990, Saint-Martin-sous-Vigouroux, Pierrefort, then D921 near Les Ternes, Saint-Flour. It's all down and up hills but never steep nor long.
* Then follow Langeac on D990 and D950. You have 10km downhill to Langeac.
* Cross the Allier river in Langeac.
* 4km after Langeac turn right follow D590 Siauges-Saintes-Marie "Parcours pittoresque". If you continue straight following Le Puy you'll go to the N120 hard and crowded road!
* Stay on D590, Saint-Jean-de-Nay, Chaspuzac, Espaly-Saint-Marcel.
* Believe me, you'll enjoy the last 20km downhill! :-)


In all cases, avoid Mars (between Saint-Agrève and Boussoulet) and Le Béage (between Mézilhac and Le Monastier), after a beautiful downhill, you'll have to turn and go up again, impossible to build up speed! Go round via respectivly Le Chambon-sur-Lignon then Mazet-Saint-Voy, Les Estables.
